Why was Quarter Quell taken away? I saw it as really fun. Will it ever be back?

Honestly , I don't think they will add it back.

Quarter Quell was removed because there was not enough demand from the network to keep the servers up.

Also it is very possible that the gamemode could come back if there is a high enough demand for it throughout the network.
