In which case they do minimum damage anyways. Armor doesn't protect against fist fighters, it just degrades your armor.

personally I'm gonna go after whoever I see. Armor really doesn't hold much sway to me. So I put on armor all the time for that cozy feeling. Also, circling around the enemy is key. That's how you win. Blocking is not so effective from my rare encounters with it, and crit jumping makes you lose some focus on the target.

I have a different opinion:

No.

1. Yes, if block hitting is done efficiently without lowering the amount of hits per second. I don't get why people hate for it, it's a mechanic in the game and I believe anyone who dislikes it tend to be people who don't do well doing it.

2. No, unless going for the first hit or by surprise.

3. Yes, strafing it's called, using latency against the opponent, although if the opponent has a very good connection with the server it may be difficult.

4. Yes.

5. It does 1/2 a heart less then diamond swords... except if a critical is hit which is actually quite common it deals 5 hearts.

Here are some pvp tips:
1: block hit (click left and right mouse key at same time)
2. Critical hit ( jump in air and hit before you hit the ground
3. Cricle around the (hole w and a or d)
4. Set them on fire with flint and steel
5. Bow snipes do as much as a daimond sword (random fact)

i agree with you on every point except the block hit thing, i prefer running around my enemy.
