It is. That's the reason 5+ people per game have the glitch. If you doubt me i can link you to a guys stream where he finds out about this and abuses it.

I could be wrong however, I don't think that's what causes the Diamond Sword Hand Glitch. The Iron Swords are merely there for training.

No it isn't. I don't want to say this out loud, as people will start abusing it, but the fist glitch happens like this:

A player wins the last game while holding a Diamond Sword in hand. The next game they join, the Diamond Sword isn't there, but the amount of damage done to players is exactly the same amount of damage as a Diamond Sword. The only way to fix this glitch is by holding another weapon that does more damage directly than half a heart.

I also don't want to share this but you take one of the swords in spawn, put it in your first inventory slot and leave and rejoin. That's how the guy in the stream did it, and how others do it.

This has been proven, so he is in fact correct. We talked about this, so it should hopefully be fixed soon.
