Please explain why?

On the SG map lobby games if you jump down from here to the ladders you die of fall damage :/
Ladders should give no fall damage but apparently this has gotten me killed 2 times now.
(Two different games)

Its a glitch. I'm not sure where from, but I'd assume a Mojang glitch.

Well I watched a chest route video on youtube and the guy didn't die.
I am perfectly sure I made the jump so yeah.

To EVERYONE: I saw a guy get the iron axe in the map Teweran Survival Games 2.
Is it bannable? Or not?
Can I use it if I kill him?

I think it's a form of block glitching, so it is illegal.

1.7.2 introduced fall damage on the face of ladders. Not a glitch. They just thought it should be a thing.

It's allowed if u kill someone for it, like the dia sword on wyvern's. Just don't block glitch for it yourself.

If you jump on a ladder from over 30 feet in the air, I'm pretty sure you would get hurt unless you have super-natural asian parkour skills.
