There is a reason they took it down. A lot of the powerful items in tekkit bypass world guarding plugins, making it almost impossible to keep in check. Last time we ran it, we had a restricted world without all the fun items in, that allowed things like a spawn building, shops etc, and an unrestricted world which was pure chaos. It simply wasn't worth the drama, just like the faction survival that was recently brought down.

I understand what you are saying but most of those overpowered items were from a mod called Equivalent Exchange 2, this mod has since been updated to its 3rd version and all overpowered items have been removed due to a switch in mod devs. Although Tekkit hasn't and will never be updated this far, we could always play on a different mod pack in the FTB launcher or maybe the Technic Launcher.

That's why it would be restricted, as my friend chobski said there aren't even that many op items anymore.

...Petition is going to be ignored, so far this thread has had 3000+ views and we still have less then 100 signatures needed to get the idea brought back up to Chad. Also currently MCSG would not work well with Tekkit as it would not integrate into their system very well. Tekkit wouldn't be able to connect to any kind of hub, players from around the world would be forced to connect to a US based server plus current staff+staff training would have to change to work with a whole new game type (New rules+separate ranks). Tekkit worked in the past but now MCSG is to big and to tightly controlled to have something like this added. Quality of service plus a bigger bill for the servers would just cause issues in the long run. For an experience like it was in the past the server would have to be ran by a third party that was endorsed by MCSG.

Well. This was a shock.
