A new "Asia/South America Servers" thread/petition gets done every month, but that doesn't change the reality of the situation.

Just because people sign their name to something doesn't mean they'll actually put money down on server costs, which is what is prohibiting us from actually starting those servers. We don't need signatures; we need a reason to believe that AS won't fail like it did last time.

PRETTY MUCH THIS. Almost all of the players replying to this thread do not live in Asia or near it. So it is not like they are going to be spending a lot of time on Asia when they could be playing on a closer region. If Asia is ever brought back, I guarantee you it won't be because 100 players from around the globe showed their support for the region. The support has to come from Asia itself to show that their is a demand for a server coming directly from the players that will use it. Otherwise, its going to be a ghost town.

The funny part is I guarantee there are hundreds of people who live around Asia, and are already donors, but they have to suffer from the ping-disadvantage, so they just play on the nearest located server.
If MCGamer becomes the first server hosted in Asia, it will go big. Trust me.
