Patch 3.2 is finally here, marking the release of MCGamer's Open Beta phase! In this phase, anyone can join the network to play while we continue to make fixes and changes. In addition, as the transition to a new development phase, stats have been reset, to give everyone a fair chance to climb the Beta leaderboards.
This update brings a few quality of life changes, among other fixes
Some highlights of this patch:
New Lobby System
We've heard your complaints - "I spend more time in lobby than in a game!" - and we've answered. The SG lobby timer has been revamped for a better user experience.
The lobby timer now will start when the game reaches the minimum number of players, and decrease more rapidly as the server fills up (down to 45 seconds when the server is 75% full, and 15 seconds when the server is 90% full). In addition, the base lobby timer has been cut in half, from 2 minutes and 30 seconds to 1 minute, 15 seconds.
Return to the Old Voting System
Raffle voting, where each map was assigned a percentage chance of winning relative to the number of votes, was our solution back in the day to allow maps other than SG4 and Breeze to be played, with our big map pool. This isn't as much of an issue in the current day with our significantly smaller map pool, so upon popular request, we've brought back the old Majority + Random voting system, where the majority wins, with an option to vote for a random map using /random.
New Sidebar
In an effort to minimize screen clutter, we've overhauled the sidebar. The sidebar also now displays the version of the server you're on, as the bossbar at the top of the screen won't be there forever.
(Note: By popular request, we plan on implementing a command to change between the old and new sidebar style in a regularly-scheduled patch next week.)
Other Changes in Patch 3.2
- More anti-cheat changes and improvements.
- Yes, we're still tweaking some various aspects of the anti-cheat and do need additional feedback. If you are able to, please provide feedback via this thread (click here) and answer ALL of the questions appropriately. If we do not have all of the details provided, we will not be able to investigate the issue you're posting.
- This does include "hit registration." We can't fix it if we aren't aware of what's happening when you're having troubles. If you want to see the issue fixed, report it via the above mentioned anti-cheat thread. Otherwise, it won't be fixed because we don't know about how it's happening.

- Fix several internal issues that could have caused odd/inconsistent behavior.
"Day One" Patch Updates
3.2.1 and 3.2.2 were both released on the same day as 3.2 to fix various critical issues. Their changes are listed below.
Patch 3.2.1 Changes
- Address an issue with Battlegrounds servers not working properly
- Address an issue where all map votes would also go to the "Random" voting option
- Fix an issue where the "Random" voting option could cause maps with incorrect slot sizes (i.e. 48/120 slot maps on a 24 slot server) to be selected
- Address an issue where the player count in the sidebar of the hub would not update
Known Issues in Patch 3.2.2
- The /disguise command (available to Premium Plus members) can sometimes be slow to generate a username.
- The /disguise command does not properly change the disguised player's name on the tab list.
- "Hit registration" issues and other anticheat-related issues (see "Other Changes in Patch 3.2" above).
In summary...
We know things aren't perfect yet, but it is our goal with this open beta phase to get more feedback on any issues/the overall gameplay experience so that, with your help, we can improve things faster. Please remember to use /reportbug ingame if you find any issues, as this goes directly to our internal issue tracker - helping us triage the issue faster.
Thanks for playing, and may the odds ever be in your favour!
