There are plugins that change and add crafting recipies, one of which could re add the old recipe to the game.

The regeneration + Absorbtion is moreso OP so I personally believe the recipes should stay how they are. Seriously guys, imagine each GA giving you 4 hearts + 2 each time you ate it. Imagine having multiple of these would be game changing.

The extra hearts are not stackable if thats what your are thinking.
