It's great to see that you've decided to join us over here.
On the contrary, however, I would call depression far from typical. And it's not something that needs to be permanent- or persisting at all. If you find yourself feeling hopeless chronically, look for things you enjoy and keep a positive mindset because you can do anything with it. Depression is simply a limiting factor that we allow ourselves to be affected by however everyone has the right, and strength to live their life how they'd like
