We're going to have 8 AU servers so that's over $4000 per month. $4000 for 8 servers is not worth it... We also have to spend money on 30 us and eu servers. For diamond donors to pay for those 8 servers we need 80 Diamond donor every month.
You can fit a bunch of servers on a single dedicated server. It depends on how much RAM you have, the speed (I/O speed) of the drive, processor speed/functionality, etc.

So in human-speak it means that they pay for the dedicated servers that they attach single servers to. So the dedicated server is like a shelf, and the single servers (au3 for example) are the books and they can just add on more servers (books) and only pay for the dedicated (shelf) so each individual server doesn't cost them extra. At least, I think that's what he's trying to get across ^_^

It'd be nice if you set them up in my house, giving me the opportunity to kick anyone I like from a lobby ;D

Really we cannot provide servers in AU as most data centers in Sydney want way too much for throughput and bandwidth costs. Just as an example, speeds start at 5Mbps where we need over 100 just to run 8 servers. Singapore was the next best alternative for getting the lowest ping time outside of AU.
