Of course latency does not necessarily work this way, but without going in to too much detail you can tell that the server is going to be slightly further away than usual for Melbourne nothern players..

But hey, its only like 2-3 ms, who cares.. xD

Yeh, I noticed that just then. Curious to know why the servers were not hosted in Sydney in the first place tbh. That actually makes sense as to why I was able to get the ping I did even though I lived Brisbane.

Glad to know that the AU network will be more stable, this will prevent complaints about the network being down. Hopefully this is nothing but good for the region.
