I have a Razer Naga but if you do get one then get the Razer Naga "Hex."

I hear people talking about the Razr DeathAdder and Razr Naga, but honestly, any gaming mouse will do. The only reason why people mostly by Razr is because of its branding. Not many people buy it because they genuinely think its good.
That sir is not true. I bought my Razor because its genuinely good. My older brother a more of a mmorpg gamer uses the Naga and i used it once and LOVED it. So i bought it and still love :).

That sir, is really incorrect and it's 'Razer' not 'Razr'. I'll start of that you probably don't have a Razer gaming mouse and you never used one. It isn't about the brand, it's because it's desing of the mouse, it's really good quality. Most of the people buy stuff from Razer because it's good and new technology, they have by far the best keyboards, gaming mouses and headsets.
No, it's because of branding and marketing.
I'm not saying all Razer products are bad quality: No, I'm using a Razer Deathadder now and have been using it for a year and a half without problems. Still, there are plenty of other superior mice out there if you're willing to spend some time looking. I got this mouse because it came with a discount with a bundle of other good things like a headset and mouse pad I needed: I still use both of those too. I tend to avoid things advertised as "gaming" mice or headsets without careful research, because "gaming" is an exploit in marketing that companies frequently take advantage of.

Also, as far as I'm aware, Razer is mostly known for their mice: Some of their other stuff, especially their gamepads, have crashed and burned. (My brother owns one of their gamepads - there is literally nothing going for it aside from programmable buttons and it broke quickly for no reason - not just our problem, according to the majority of consumers and reviewers it's a problem with the controller.) This is a perfect example of how their respected brand name and marketing has sold a bad product very well. Never assume a company sells only good products because of a few, once they have the name it's easy to abuse it to sell a rushed and cheap product. How often do you even hear people talk about Razer's other mice? They have many different kinds of mice, but only the Deathadder and Naga get talked about for a reason; the others aren't worth your time, or are otherwise very specific in the audience they are reaching for.

I don't care how many amazing games Nintendo has produced themselves: I am still going to read reviews and do my research before buying into their product. The same should especially apply to companies like Razer.
