My view on Moderators

The time I've spent with AU mods, they aren't bad. I wonder why people say they suck.

I think it is disgraceful and should warrant an instant demotion if a staff member says "10" or some similar form of trash talk. My friend was muted for bypassing filter when he said "10" (instead of gg 10). Moderators are privileged to have such a high rank, but to abuse your power and act unprofessional just isn't tolerated.

An issue I've found with mods is that it becomes one big popularity contest. Instead of doing your work quietly and accepting that people won't acknowledge you, some mods go out of their way to be the most liked person the servers have ever known.

Good feedback thread, I suppose not all moderators can be perfect and i think that's what a large majority of players need to remember.
