hi
Our Minecraft servers are offline but we will keep this forum online for any community communication. Site permissions for posting could change at a later date but will remain online.
AutojoinHm, but you could also argue that it would also take time to spot the f:[0-3] part in f3 mode, during which you are less focused on the game so someone could sneak up to you and kill you.
Additionally, the rule is "Anything that gives you an advantage over others players is not allowed and can get you banned."
I'd argue the Direction one gives you quite the advantage, since it makes orientating yourself a lot easier, while the armour and status mods will hardly give you any advantage, since gear hardly breaks during a game of SG, and the only effects you'll ever get in game are regeneration from a golden apple and food poisoning from raw chicken/rotten flesh.
I think the rule is a bit vague, too .. The idea behind pretty much every mod (including eg optifine) is to enhance minecraft, in one way or another, giving you an advantage over others.
I think the rule should be rewritten, because the current wording can be applied to pretty much every mod out there. It should be reworded to something along the lines:
A mod is not allowed when ..
That's just off the top of my head .. are there any cheats that are not covered with these rules?
- It automates manual processes (such as filling your hotbar with food, but also aiming your weapon, etc.)
- It gives you information about the enviroment that you could not have known otherwise (such as chestfinders or xray to find players)
- It allows you to move in a fashion otherwise impossible in vanilla survival (such as flymods or that mod that boosts you through the water)
