I know I'm not Le0, whom you asked the question, but as far as I know, the number of times you've applied and been denied doesn't affect the reviewal time, unless you've already been denied three times, in which you wouldn't receive a response since you are only allowed 3 denied applications.
I could be completely wrong, so don't quote me on this, but I do think that's how it works.
Thanks, it's just because my first app was reviewed straight away, but mods have there on lives too.

Well, I think the Sr. Mods read every application within 30-45 minutes of it being posted, and decide which ones to look into further, and which ones to deny.
If an application has relatively short answers and isn't really up to the standard, you'll have a reply much faster because its way easier to deny then accept.
If they like your application, I believe they have other Sr. Mods look it over before making the final decision on accepting it, or denying it.

Don't get your hopes up though, since I'm not sure on this theory.

Well, there isn't enough Sr. Mods to read all the apps that soon :p.

Basically, they have a Google Document, which all the Sr. Mods+ have access to. When they see new applications that haven't been added to it, they add it. When they have a chance, they read the applications, and say yes, or no. Once an application gets 3 responses, they will get a reply. 3 of them say yes? Accepted! 3 say no? Denied.

Or at least, this is what I've gathered from listening to them.

Ohhhh, that makes sense :p
I just assumed they were seen at least glimpsed at within that time period, then later coming together for the actual decision

That's their problem with arguing. They should know that duckluv321 is amazing and deserves to be mod <3 I do think that everyone else should just accept the fact about those mods, and move on. They can either 'wait till they're 14' or just MOVE ON. MCSG is very understaffed and you need people like duckluv321 believe me.

WHY DO STAFF SAY MY IDEAS ARE GOOD AND THEN THERES ALL THESE CONS?!
I'm confused what you want me to say.
If it is about the age limit. I agree with it. We can't have, and I am not saying all 13- people are, immature mods who can't be taken very seriously at times. Yes we do have fun and make jokes but it isn't all just fun and games for the joy of playing, having a cool color, and chat color. You have to actually be able to show that you are responsible enough to handle the job of moderating the servers, being active, and interacting with the community.

That's one way of putting it:D

since my first app was denied, does this mean my 2nd app will take longer to be reviewed?
No, the time it takes on the apps to be viewed is random. If we see an app appear while we are online that doesn't meet our standards (not enough detail, player been banned, person used the wrong template, too young etc), we may deny it straight away. As duckluv321 said, it is a lot easier to deny applications quickly that to accept them (there have been exceptions of course, some people's apps have been so amazing that we accept them in a few minutes, if enough Senior Staff are online.).

So yeah, I guess I'll explain the process that we go through when looking at mod apps, as everyone has little bits right but not others. :p

As stated above, if a not so good app is submitted, ("plz make me mod i luv these srvers and want to catch haxors and make dem beter"-yes, we actually have a surprising amount of moderator applications like that....) and a senior staff member is online, then it can be denied straight away, one person alone can make that call.

For better apps, if we feel that they have potential, or are very good, we put the apps on a Google Doc for all of the Sr Staff to discuss. If there are enough yes's for an application, we let you know your app had been accepted, if there aren't enough, we say no.

We generally do try to deal with older applications first, so we don't keep people waiting months for a response. So, just putting it out there: one person stated that if your application has been denied 3 times, we don't reply to it. We actually do, we reply to ALL submitted mod applications. So if you haven't had a reply on yours yet, it does not mean that you are "forgotten" or you have been denied, it just means we haven't had time to talk about yours yet.

We do get a LOT of mod apps per day. At the moment there are 117 applications, and we get on average maybe 10-20 per day. So, patience is a key virtue when it comes to wait for a reply on your mod app. :)

but mods have there on lives too.
Lolwut? Never heard of a thing called a "life"

As stated, even though she could potentially be a great mod, we can't accept her when she is under the age limit.
