I think this is an awkward topic. I am an admin on a server, and people often ask me how to become an admin. I say become the next rank first (there are many ranks on the server) and ask the owner for more info. I don't like saying "Do this, this, this and then you will be ready for admin" or whatever it is, because most of the time, I don't think the person is responsible enough to be an admin. Especially if they ask for it, that has started to annoy me. I will also feel awful and annoyed if they keep asking me what do I do now, or what happens next. Then I feel awful if they are refused the position, and/or are forced to wait longer. There is normally an answer to their question somewhere on a forum/sign for the server. Sorry if I seem mean here, I'm just stating my opinion on the matter.
