I made an account to say this: I HATE the new map. The buildings and all, b-e-a-utiful but the gameplay SUCKS. I LOVED the old map. Try getting an admin on in some servers, asking people which server they liked better.

The trailer makes it look better than it really is. It still looks good but its not as amazing looking in game. (not on default texture pack anyway)
Plus the gameplay on it is lame :/

I have to admit, there aren't enough chests on the new map. Its awesome, but very difficult to survive even until the first night.
