Hey. On my brothers laptop, while he's playing MC, it tends to just close. No message, it just closes randomly. Unfortunately, that's the only detail I can possibly give on this. Anybody know some possible.fixes?

FPS boosting tips would be great too! We already have Optifine and GameBooster.

It does this for me, but I usually get signs that let me know it's gonna close out.

Sometimes I get a random white line that flashes across my screen, other times the graphics get really weird and things turn purple, but I'm pretty sure that's just my game crashing.

If it's just closing randomly with absolutely no lag or freezing, that's pretty strange. :p

Could just be that the computer can't run the minecraft any longer. For fps, a better java or just a better computer. That's all you can do.

A better computer is not an option.

It runs fine, but just closes without any warning at all.

May sound silly, but try running some kind of anti-malware program on the laptop. I've had similar issues in the past where a falsw anti-virus program or other form of malware will play random sounds on the PC and close programs.

I know a ton of ways to improve FPS. To keep it from closing, allocate more RAM to it.
FPS tips-
Smooth lighting off or on low level.
Small / Tiny rendering.
AdvanceOpenGL ON
Graphics need to be on Fast
Set FPS to MAX FPS which will make the computer try harder to run better.
OptiFine will tell you what makes stuff run faster, those are just basic tips.

Yeah, I believe you can use optifine to minimize about every part of minecraft. I had a friend with an old crappy laptop that could get better frames than my gaming pc using that o_0

We have Optifine settings as low as possible, it still only gets about 30 FPS.

Thanks for those tips though, Randomman and Tacoface. I'll be sure to try them out :D
