Minecraft.net authentication servers are down for some people

So some people, including me, are reporting they cannot log into the servers. It seems Minecraft.net authentication servers are down at the moment and should be a temporary issue. Servers never went down and everything seems to be normal.

"Some people" key words. Could be an issue with a gateway server for the US.

Yeah. I keep trying to get onto a server, and it says "Logging in..." and the page freezes. It's a pain to close it. xD

Im having the same problem. Getting an error message:

OException: server eturned HTTP response code: 502 for URL: http://session.minecraft.net/game/joinserver..jsp?user=Nukkumatti&sessionId=40 (cant see the rest if theres more & neither the beginning)​

Yup, that is the Minecraft servers bugging out.
