Hi, my name's Patrick ("Hi Patrick!". I'm twenty years old and I'm here because I have a computer addiction. No seriously, I began college majoring in Computer Science my freshman year and just recently switched to Information Technology: Web & Database Mgmt. My passion in computers involves web design as well as assisting my parents and peers with "tech support" jobs.
Like so many others, I too have taken up the mantle of aspiring Youtuber. My main inspiration and commentary form are styled after the first Youtube gamer I ever subscribed to (first Youtuber period), Asxdefter. If there's one person in this world I want to meet some day (besides my soulmate/other half future wife), it's definitely Jordan Maron whom I have a chance to meet this year at Pax Prime.
As to why I'm here on the MCGamer forums so often, I am constantly looking for ways in which to provide guidance to the MCG administration where web design, public relations, and server development are concerned. After I graduate, my dream real life job is with Google or to be a freelance web designer. Youtube is more of a side hobby, but should I "make it to the big leagues", it might become more of a priority.
In the meantime, when I'm confident that my coding skills (and P.R. and community standing) are up to snuff, I've considered applying for the position of MCG developer. I feel as if that's what I'm being called to work toward at this point in my young life.
Anywho, in other news, I'm 5'9", slim and shady, blonde (refer to my skin's hair), and your stereotypical "white and nerdy" sans the pocket protectors or glasses. My favorite video game is currently The Last of Us for it's incredible storyline. My favorite book series are the Seven Realms (for which my IGN gets its roots) and Divergent. Two more interesting facts about me: I'm a cancer survivor and I own every Star Wars book ever written (pre-, during, and post-Clone Wars/Galactic Civil War).
As for my personality, my favorite colors are red and yellow. Current favorite song is one of three: Ellie Goulding's "I Need Your Love", Cassadee Pope's "Wasting All These Tears", or Idina Menzel's "Let It Go." I don't act as boldly as I do on the 'Net. #AwkwardTurtle
