No staff member is forced to do something, I put that because people may have had forum accounts but then joined the community later. When I see someone make formal public post announcing their entering of the community, I like to welcome them.

how does his post signal him "joining the community"? I haven't made one of those posts, so am I not part of the community? Surely anyone who logs in is part of the community brohammed
