I got bored, so I decided to make this.

First of all, please don't take this too seriously. As long as people don't get angry and argue over this, I don't think there will be a problem.

So in a lot of EA sports video games (FIFA, Madden, etc) all of the players have different ratings determined by smaller ratings. In FIFA, the ratings are pace, dribbling, shooting, defending, passing, physical, and (not a lot of people know about this), International Reputation.

I thought it might be fun to actually make FIFA player cards with MCSG players.

The MCSG stats are:
BOW - Bow - Accuracy with a bow - Contributes 10% to the player rating
STR - Strafe - Any skill with using a sword without secondaries - Contributes 45% to player rating
TCT - Tactics - Being smart in a game of MCSG - Contributes 5% to player rating
ROD - Rod - Using the fishing rod to enhance sword PvP abilities - Contributes 30% to player rating (Remember, if someone is really good with a sword, but using it without the rod, they'll still get a lot of points in the Strafe category)
FNS - Flint and Steel - Being able to think quickly and accurately with flint and steel - Contributes 5% to player rating
RLX - Reflex - Being able to think quickly during a fight or just in general during an MCSG game - contributes 5% to player rating

The last stat is Reputation. Really well known people in the community get a 3 star reputation. Well known but not huge YouTubers (or something like that) get 2. People who are active in the community get 1. "Randies" get 0. Every star is an extra point on your rating. You are either 1, 2, or 3 though. You can't have all of them and get 6 extra points.

It seems unfair to give well known players more points for being well known, but when you think about it, it kind of makes sense. EA actually does do this in their games.

I didn't consider ping because if you have better ping, you will be better with a sword, and that is how you will perform. I related ping to FIFA player's height. Messi can't head the ball too well because of his height compared to other players, so his shooting stat takes a hit. He can't change the fact that he's that height, and we can't change our ping.

There are 5 types of player cards (These are my variations, not the exact EA ones)
Bronze - The lowest rating - 64 rates or less
Silver - The "Middle" rating - 65 - 74
Gold - The highest rating - 75 - 99 (99 is the highest possible rating)
Inform - A gold player in his absolute prime - 76 - 99 (You could for example, say that Huahwi is 92 rated, but his inform variation is 94)
Legend - High rated gold players that don't play anymore - 87 - 99 (An example is TOXICWASTEII)

Here are some good examples.

I will probably continue making these cards for fun, probably, but if you're reading this, and you disagree with a rating that I put on a card, please reply to this thread telling me, and I will consider it, because my judgements are obviously not perfect. Same thing for what each stat counts for (If you think rod should be 25% instead of 30%, tell me)

Also, I has some trouble finding Uprising's face, so he's Messi for now xD

This uhh.....well coding a plugin that tracks every placement of F&S, and **ranking** people who successfully light others aflame, would be difficult in and of itself. I can see tracking every arrow fired and every kill with a melee weapon. What you appear to be suggesting reminds me of Badlion's ELO ranking system which I could see on MCSG, it would be much easier to code, but it would be triply confusing for players (especially because, unlike in Badlion, games like CSGO hide how many ELO points you gained/lost from a particular match). Also, as far as I know, there isn't any way in hell to track strafing other than some sort of attempted hit versus landed hit system.

Informatiom on the ELO ranking system: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elo_rating_system

The way I understand it, in Survival Games, you'd either earn or lose a certain number of points based on your performance per game. It could even be a thing where, even if you win the match but attack someone you're partied with, you could lose some sort of Reputation point or ELO points. I DO like the Sword Art Online idea of reputation where each player has either a green, orange or red icon.
I think there should be some sort of a feature on people's stat pages where each user with an account can give one Reputation vote. Perhaps a user could rate another's level of trustworthiness from 1-10 via some sort of slider GUI that they can change at any time by revisiting that user's stat page.

This isn't meant to be official or tracked by the player's MCSG stats.

Um... this is kind of hard to explain

In FIFA, each player's stats are determined by observation of the player. Not a robot studying the way they play. It's the same case here.

Well now that you've brought it UP, I took the suggestion where it seemed to lead. Anyway, being able to at least rate a player's general trustworthiness level on their MCSG stat page seems fair enough.

The FIFA addition for the player ratings at the bottom was very clever and made me laugh lol.
