Instead of making an app, why don't you do one of these:
1. Fix the mobile theme to work properly. Even I can do that, you only need some CSS, js and HTML knowledge. (Kind of easy, not so time consuming)
2. Use the popular app tapatalk, you need to install an addon on the xenforo installation, but it is worth it. (Really easy, requires no time to do)
3. Make your own app and keep it up to date.
(Requires a lot time, dedication and work, possibly money aswell)
4. Modify the CSS for the mcsg theme, meaning that the website will automatically change based on screen size and user preferences.
(Would require a good amount of time but would probably be worth it.)
