Another thing about not seeing staff in-game is that there is a command that hides them. So they are like ninjas in the game. Just because you don't see them does not mean they are not there. I have seen so many posts about this but people do not seem to realize it even though this has been stated many times.

Untrue.
Although there are less mods, they are great mods, and the community increases every day, it definitely is not shrinking.

I suppose this is true.
I've never had staff problems, but I tried to look at it from both POV's.
Sure, blaming the community is far fetched, but it is mostly the community's doing, as they can never be happy with the few things they are given.

Also, if you're going to complain about it, take action.
I never said it was the responsibility to report EVERY hacker, but if people are going to complain, take action.
They have no right to complain if they refuse to do anything about it.

I have never had any staff problems either (never been banned), I respect the moderators and sr. moderators because their influence is limited and they take most of the heat for the problems, everyone gets mad at them. Its just like donors, most of the non-donors don't realize how essential donors are and its aggravating when you get harassed by them in lobbies because you kicked their friend. The same can apply for donors too, some of them get banned and make threads complaining about how they shouldn't get banned because they donated.

I agree with your position on complaining (sometimes I think that there is a place for it though), but that said some people still think that because they donated the servers should be hacker free, which is absurd, people for some unknown reason hack.

The problem that I have with complaining is that a lot of different people will post the same thread about donors or hackers and even unfair bans.

This has pros and cons. If a player is killed by a hacker and they don't realize that there is a moderator in the game they might feel that there is nothing they can do to catch the hacker, but if they see the moderator presence they may be able to tell the mod. On the reverse side, if I am a hacker and I see a moderator spectating I would turn off my hacks.

Oh, I do suppose the forum community is dwindling, yes.
Concerning the moderators, we do need more mods, and the Sr. Staff is aware if that, but it doesn't mean they'll accept every 'good' application, they need amazing applicants so the job will be done right

There is one really good solution to this problem: People should get some sort of rewards for reporting people (only if the person(s) are doing something wrong of course)

I can't think of any rewards that wouldn't cause some problems.

And how many reports would you need to submit?

If you actually try, it's not that hard to stack them up in no time.

I know its not hard to report hackers Im not going along with giving people rewards for reporting hackers I just wanted to say a reward that wouldn't cause harm

People should be reporting hackers to help clean this community of hackers not to get rewards

Why do I always miss them? Maybe I just don't care as much. That's one reason I didn't apply for mod, I think I'd miss too many.

I applied for mod because Im more of a Moderator type of person than a player now
Ive been playing mine craft PvP servers for a very long time now! and id rather moderate the servers than play but my application has not got a reply yet ;/

They are recruiting more mods they may be doing it at a slow pace but they are

The reward is that you know that you are making the community a better place. What else do you want?
