Map is chosen before game Starts

I have noticed recently that almost every game I play at least 1 person leaves in pre game, sometimes more. Yes they might have their reasons but majority if not all leave because of the map chosen. Now this means that many people are missing out in a spot because of these people not liking certain maps. I think that voting should end 30 seconds before the game starts, this gives people time to leave and for others to join If they do not like the map. subv3rsion?

Yeah pre-game joining should be allowed, even if it's just donators it'll help fill games up to their potential.

I think he was meaning 30 seconds before pre-game, just to give a chance for people who don't want to play can leave, and people can come and join at their will.

Yeah I thought that but there are many problems to that as well, such as if you join 1 second before and you don't get any warning, just be Overall easier if the map is chosen before which would massively improve the the pre game quitters

Yeah exactly, no real change in joining and leaving except Voting closes 30 seconds before the pre game starts so people can leave if they don't like the map and let others join

I think something like rejoinong should be added, so when someone leaves for any reason that isnt disconnect.quitting he should able to rejoin for 60 secs or so, keeping an NPC at his position to kill.

Actually, you can usually tell as late as 30 seconds to start which map will win. If you see that information and still wait untill pregame to leave, You are just taking up a slot for no reason.
