Lag Back

So a lot of people are complaining about the issue of "lagging back". I was wondering if there was a fix for that. I mean I know it is caused by the no cheat plus but can't we remove the plugin or maybe fix it? I don't know I know I'm frustrated with this and wanted to know your guys's opinion on this or maybe solutions or what ever.

Edit: I'm sure a lot of people hate it, it lags me back when I'm about to get kills or while running.

Well to be honest their is no fix. The server has to have no cheat plus to prevent people with sped/fly hacks. It has to be there or else any movement hacks cant be stopped. I personally would rather get lagged back than have a guy running fom me turn on his spider and climb up a building... its happened before dont ask it was a long time ago.

Block your sword or crouch every time you hit someone and you won't get lagged back.

The plugin is actually quite good. Removing the plugin would let so many hackers in, and pretty much destroy MCSG. What would you choose, Minor lag backs or a huge hacker problem?

I know NCP is a hacker repellent plug-in but maybe they can tweak it a little, I used not have this issue playing on 1.6 but since 1.7 it's happened a LOT

The tricky thing with NCP is that there's no happy medium. One one hand, if we were to turn up the sensitivity to strange movement, it would be much more difficult to play as players would be lagged back further and more often. On the other hand, if we were to turn the sensitivity down, while there would be less rubber-banding, it would mean that hackers would be more influential, as less suspicious actions are blocked.

If you really want to know how to stop getting lagged back, just don't HOLD DOWN your sprint key (whatever it is, CTRL, R, etc.) after you hit someone. Just tap it so you can continue sprinting, but only hold W. It won't lag you back if you don't hold down the key. And if you do start getting lagged back just block your sword while holding the sprint key, it barely slows you down at all.

well if there were moderators online maybe the MCSG server wouldn't have to worry about hackers but, right now you only see like 1 to 2 mods on a week.
