Do not do that. That is called battle logging, it's for people who can't face the fact that they will die. It's kinda nooby, and as well as what Vebbi said "but if you get hit once you still lose points." Which is basically saying you might as well fight them, because you might actually have a chance because you will still lose points in the process. So you might as well go for it.

Nope, you can only lose points by someone killing you and/or hitting you before ou combat log.

You're better off going for the kill because:

1. If you don't battle log quickly enough you will be hit. It's a high percentage of actually being hit. Therefore losing points without actually trying.

2. You could also possibly kill them. Depending if they are good at PvP or not.
