Restarted my router and Re-installed Java and The same problem Happened ten seconds into a game I just played :(
You did say you were on 1.8, correct? If so, try using 1.7.10 or below and see if the frequency decreases at all - 1.8 does have some stability issues right now.

Java is an issue with 1.8. Was roaming the MindCrack forums and someone posted saying that it is because Mojang optimized it for Java 8 but I have had people tell me that even with Java 8 they get the same java issues. My recommendation is that you stay in 1.7 until 1.8.1 or 1.8.2 comes out with java fixes. Hope this helps! :D
