It's so difficult to start a map

I don't know where to start with the terraforming

Maybe come up with a theme, build some random things based off of that (Ex: Greek, nether, forest, etc.) and then make the terraforming, according to what would look good, such as a temple on the top of a mountain.

And try to form a build team, or get some freinds to help you with the map.
