It occurs to me, that when MCSGv2 came out, the majority of people got extremely angry, complaining things like "It was better in the original!", and, "The maps are bad in v2!". Yet now, nobody ever wants to play SG Classic. Personally, I would really love to play it, too feel some nostalgia, but nobody's ever playing it.

Why do you think this is? Do you think people have become accustomed to v2, and ended up liking it? Do you think its because all the new players dont know about it, and so SG dominates Classic? Or do you think its infinitely circular, i.e. Nobody ever plays on classic because nobody's ever playing on classic because nobody's ever playing on classic, ect.

Just wondered.

Its because SG is all about PvP now, and people now just get bored looking for people, rather than just killing them

Well that is until they get used to what's new. Then people become comfortable with the new standard. When that changes, then it becomes a problem again. It's just a cycle.

MCSG couldnt play SG Classic for a while until it came out mid way through V2. By the time that had happened, yes, people were no longer comfortable with playing this gamemode.

Sg classic is boring to most people because it is more survival than pvp, which most people like for some reason. You could join the US classic, its a bit laggy, but it has a fair amount of players.

In all honesty, I think people just don't like change- when V2 was pushed out everyone was caught off-guard and didn't expect it. Myself, was used to Classic and I can admit when v2 came out I loved MCGamer even more!

So the bottom line is that people usually don't like change, and now since everyone has accustomed to V2, if MCGamer was to go back to V1 it would be the exact same reaction.
