Is this computer good enough?

You should get a PC… Usually the laptop company will say it is good for gaming… but the fps after a week on a laptop is really choppy. Plus, if you are willing to spend 700 dollars you could get a really good solid PC for that… I know you want a laptop so you can bring it to both your dads and moms. SO maybe you could find an alienware laptop or razor laptop for 700 bucks?

Alienware and razor are WAY overrated. And it doesn't matter if they say it's "good for gaming". This isn't a gaming computer, but it has specs good enough for one. If you can find one for that price tho, link it.

Minecraft runs of the CPU. Unless you fully overclock it to 3.0 Ghz I doubt you're going to be able to run it and record 60FPS with many other programs open.
