Is this a hack or just lag?

In the situation where somebody hits you while you're running away, and you are seemingly 'drawn' into them. Is this a hack or just plain lag? thanks.

Well, they're sprinting after you. When they hit you, while there is SOME knockback the punch stops your sprinting as your antagonist is still at their full speed, therefore easily catching up to you.
It isn't hack. It could be (but most of the time isn't) lag.

Sprinting stops when you run into something, someone hits you, or you hit someone. Either one of those things happened, or that guy was hacking; lag usually doesn't effect sprinting to the extent of being drawn into a player. Just try to catch him on tape so we can bust him next time
