Is this a bug ?

So I was playing valleyside uni and i killed a guy, he dropped a compass... I haz no idea, is there a secret compass somewhere on the map ? Or is there a random redstone dust somewhere and he crafted it ? Plz tell me. I think that somehow he bugged it from the hub lobby and into the game ?

I dont see why it matters, they're practically useless anyway, but if you reeeeeeeeeeally want to know, its in the tent thing by the football field, the one with the crafting table in it. Its kinda hidden (on the inside of it) to the left in the corner.
