the iron sword thing is not op, since there is not that many chests that are close and if you dont have armor or food , you are pretty much done, a stone or a wooden sword with some armor can kill you, happened to me lots of times...

There are 2 normal chests and a tier 2 chest in a radius of 10 blocks of the dispenser -.- Also if you walk like 50 blocks more there is another tier 2 chest and 1 normal chest.

nah if you first take the chest in the ruin you can take the other 2 chest wich has 1 tier 2 chest. You can open a piston door in the wall with a lever behind another tree. The tree is south of the one that gives you the iron sword. But it will lead you to a ruin with a lot of traps in it but if you know how to don't fall for them you can get the chests easily. I play a lot of mcsg and I never saw someone in that ruin.

i never go there since it takes so much time.. like minute or two, by then i could have made like 3 kills, or die

nah it does take like 40 seconds to get it directly from start.

If you go down that "cave" and over the water ladders and stuff, you could get to the ship from the little ruin by that time..
