Iron Sword Glitch Fixed?

Were the iron swords removed: Yes.

Is the glitch fixed: No. There is still the matter of holding a diamond sword at the end of the game. Like it's been said very many times before, it is caused by Mojang itself. It was tested in the newest 1.7 snapshot, and the glitch will not exist in the 1.7 update.

They were taken off the lobby so it should be less likley to get the glitch.

Yes, the glitch does still exist but now it is much harder to abuse it. Now the only one who can abuse it is the winner of the previous game. Also, typically people who win games are mature enough to not abuse the glitch so until 1.7 you will not see many complaints of fist glitching, guaranteed.

I definitely agree with you, but skill at the game does not always equal maturity.
So we still have to be very carful about it.
