Honestly, that's the point in Hip-Hop, to strengthen society.
Also, if you listen to some songs on both of there albums, there are some personal songs and experiences they shared.
Just because they released a single that is not meaningful doesn't mean there other songs that are not as popular are also generic

Easy answer, neither.

Why should we choose who is better when both of them are making songs that society demands. They make the world a shade dirtier and I don't think it should be supported. There're are many other artist and bands that deserve way more recognition and praise compared to the fame that Iggy and Nicki are receiving.

I will admit that when their songs came out, they were catchy. But after skimming over the lyrics, I was in shock.
