I really wish my parents didn't give me this name, I've been teased in school so much due to it. I'd go as far as to say it's one of the reason I have such low confidence and low self-esteem, among other things of course. I wouldn't mind something mainstream like Joshua.

Don't feel bad about your name. Don't ever listen to those who make fun of you and tease you for your name. You have to ignore them and know that you are better than that and accept that listening to them is stooping down to their level.

As for what I would make my name, I would go from Blake to Blaise.
