if you believe in that. there's a lot of theories about time travel and affecting the past; one of them being that no matter what happens in the past, the outcome will still be the same. Example: If I go back in time and kill Hitler in the womb, his mother might have another child with similar tendencies and a lack of skill in art [] He might become the Hitler that we knew, and the Holocaust would still happen.
