Ideas and Improvements on hacker bans!

Hello, I noticed that there are too many hackers on mcsg. I can understand that the moderators/admins are really busy but we need to do something. So I wanted to hear some ideas and improvements from the community. Personally I come across hackers like every third game and that's too much. So I thought of a better Anti-Cheat-System or more moderators who are specialized on going around and join some random games to look for hackers. I don't know if these are two good ideas. Just post yours and maybe we'll find some good ideas and our voice is heard.

If some moderators will read this. Please think over it and maybe discuss with other moderators about it. It isn't fun to play against hackers with Forcefield, Aimbot or Regenerate hacks and really unfair for good players who are trying to play to win. I understand that it is really hard to handle a server with that amount of people but is it really that hard to think of any improvements on the ban system or any other solution?

The main reason as to why we don't up the sensitivity on our anti-cheat system is because it would start blocking perfectly normal actions. It would make it extremely difficult to play because you would be caught for doing normal types of movement.

The Anti-cheat plugin is up to date and will get rid of the most obvious hacks, such as flying and BSM. Though other kinds of hacks, like as forceshield are hard to detect and if they'd higher the sensivity of detecting it, there is a high change normal actions will be seen as hack too.

For the moderators, they can't simply hire more. It takes alot of responsibility to be a moderator, and there is just too few potential people who apple for moderator.

They can't simply get more moderators, as i said before. They need people who are fair in making decisions, and can be trusted with such responsibilty.

Most hackers are younger and really have no idea what they are doing. In their minds hacking is just a way to get easy wins and they have no idea of consequences of their actions. That is way there is a second chance so you can stop hacking once you feel the punishment, But some people still hack after their first ban then you know they will not stop then it is ok to perma-ban they said player. That has been how mcsg worked with bans in the past and it's a great system. I don't think they will change it in the future and most likely they will not. Also If they turned up the sensitivity of the Ncp then it would be nearly impossible to hit somebody, I'm pretty sure mcsg already tried this and many players were mad about it.

Sadly there is only so much that anti cheat can do. Hacks like force field can usually only be detected by actual players and moderators. And of course things like chest ESP and player ESP are basically impossible to detect at all, but those hacks still give a huge advantage. Unfortunately, hackers are probably here to stay for a long time.

False bans. Even with disputes, there always are a few that can slip by. I don't think we'd want to permanently ban someone that never did anything, just couldn't dispute their ban well enough.
