Multiple times.Have you tried uninstalling and re-installing the NVIDIA drivers?
The problem is shaders. The error it shows (error code: 9) is due to Open GL. Open GL is what runs shader packs. There are a lot of multiple people with the same problem on the internet. Also, from my research, it appears that multiple people with the NVIDIA Geforce GTX 660 Ti have the same problem.Ok. So judging by the error screen, I am going to provide you 3 possible solutions. Try them each in order, and let us not skip to the final one.
- Increase the ram. Increasing the RAM dedicated to Minecraft can be done in several steps. I will list them here, in the case some one does not know about it.
Step 1: http://prntscr.com/5osv2x
Step 2: http://prntscr.com/5osvq0
Step 3: http://prntscr.com/5oswx8
If you do not know how much RAM you have, follow this tutorial: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/how-much-computer-ram#1TC=windows-7 (Do not install the silver light thing, under it is a tutorial in text.)
2. Delete Minecraft, .minecraft, and all things related to it. Clean it up, and install again. Use it without shaders, and test. Add shaders. If it crashed, then it is shaders, so repeat this process, and avoid using shaders.
3. Uninstall Java and .minecraft, then re-install respectively in order. Remember, report back!
As stated, I told him to do a fresh install of .minecraft. This should indeed fix it. If not, I will need a complete section of the console to give a good report. The problem is shaders.
