i5 4690k, Best i5 out there and pretty cheap.

^ I was about to suggest the same. i5's are usually less expeneive and are more than qualified for games like MC and CS:GO. This specific CPU, the 4690K, is better than a lot of i7s anyway.

i7s are usually only worth it if you're doing some intensive gaming, editing and rendering etc. As the others said, you can get a really get a good i5 which will last you a while and get the job done.
