This is really going to be helpful whenever I become ambitious about becoming moderator, however I still am yet to fulfill my proper standards for it. :p

Also, I would like to view any previous bans I had, but I feel disrespectful towards staff if I ask about it, because I don't have the intention to waste their time to check if I had any bans or how recent they were, but I would definitely like to know. :)

Nice guide, but I do believe that a mod should need to work it out on themselves. Other than that, nice guide!

Awesome guide! This will definitely help out a lot of people who have the qualities for a moderator, but don't just know where to start.

Very good guide. It will just lessen the quality of the newer mods more than what has already happened..

It literally only takes a few seconds for a staff member to see your ban history, you can message any moderator on the forums and ask for your ban history.

Thank you for the amazing guide, I am sure that all future applicants will be sure to refer to this guide as much as possible as it includes an extensive array of tips for writing a great an amazing application!

I can't even begin to comprehend how much time and effort you must have put into this guide especially as I know that you have been sick lately.

Trust me on this going through poorly written applications is horrific and the senior staff go through pages of applications at a time sometimes. After a while you actually become demoralised and you automatically judge the applicant based upon their layout and formatting. Is this unfair ? Perhaps it is however when it comes to applying for any role in real life this happens too so it is good practice to improve your experience with typing up applications with good spacing and formatting.

So glad this came out, will help loads of people.
And about formatting, I hate it when people don't use formatting, it really sets of my OCD, and in general makes things look better if done correctly.

My heart goes out to some Sr. Mods who have to deal with the dreadful applications that are submitted :D

Although it is helpful a lot of it is already explained and the rest is pretty obvious and I feel as though to be mod you should think for yourself and this basically gives you everything you need to do and I don't think someone who needs that should be mod, good guide but probably shouldn't be on the front page :p
