Well, a hacker has a modified character, if you see one of these, then you know that you're looking at a hacker.
Now, into more detail:
Hackers behave differently from normal players and here are some things they might do differently:
Firstly, they might be going way faster than they are meant to. You should know how fast you run, just generally,and a hacker can sometimes run WAY faster than that. Some ways to spot this are:
They keep getting further and further away from you whilst you're chasing them. (You must understand that there are some legit ways to increase your speed. E.g. Sprinting and jumping or constantly pressing space bar in a 2 block high space while sprinting) for example, if you were chasing them down the road on sg2 and they kept on getting further and further away, then chances are, they are probably hacking.
Another hack is where they just keep on getting hits on you whilst they are turning at wild speed and getting hits at an incredible pace. This is known as aim bot and, basically, allows them to just hit in every direction whether they are even clicking or not. A few ways to spot this are:
Their head starts jerking and turning around whilst they are running, they turn around randomly and start hitting thin air as if their are people, for example, if you spectate them and suddenly they start hitting you, they are probably hacking.
Another hack allows the hacker to hit in all directions at once and reply to every hit he takes with whatever is in his hand without even turning around. This isnt hard to spot. If, for example, you and your friend are fighting them and you are taking hits simultaneously, hacks! If they are looking away from you, you hit them and take damage with no one else around, hacks.
Another hack. I'm going to mention is water walking. This does what it says and permits players to walk and run on water. This is best noticed on maps like breeze island.
So, when you identify a hacker, record them and report them. Here are a few examples of hackers:
