Sometimes members of the community will host contests that you can participate in, often as a youtuber and you have to subscribe, and they will do MCSG donor give-aways sometimes. But there is no other way to get free donor. The first big game on eu9001 someone got donor, but apparently he wasn't supposed to or something.

I just made a thread about this in the Suggestions section. I doubt it is that hard, as Optifine uses this too.
