Many people need to know how to screenshot/record, if they want to report hackers or just have a good time on Minecraft/ this server on a whole
. Here is a detailedexplanation on how to do this . Hope this helps guys.
Video Tutorial :
Recording :
1) You can record on Minecraft using various software such as :
Fraps
Bandi-Cam
OBS Recording
Sony Vegas
Keep in mind that your recording can only run smoothly ( that is without any lag spikes in the recording/ freezing in the recording) if you are running at 30 FPS and up while recording. Make sure your PC can handle recording minecraft. If not I don't suggest it.
*IMPORTANT NOTE*: I suggest if your PC can handle it always have your recording software open in Minecraft. You never know when you might run into hackers.
When catching hackers video proof is needed, but I thought that I might as well add in how to take screenshots in this thread also
Screenshots :
To take screenshots on Minecraft you have to :
1) Press F2 , this is the default screenshot key for Minecraft
2) To see your screenshots you have to locate your ''.minecraft'' file on your computer. Go in the Windows Start/Seach bar abd type in ''%appdata%''.
3) When you do this you should see various files. Look for the file that says ''.minecraft''
4) Now double-click this file.
5) In this file holds your various minecraft information. There are several other files in here. To see your screenshots, look down until you see the file with a name ''screenshots''
6) Double click this file and you will see all your screenshots
