How do you organise your inventory?

I used to play survival a lot. So I kept my pickaxe in my first slot and my sword in my second. When I started mcsg I was so used to pressing "2" to switch to my sword, which explains my hotbar.

3.Fishing rod
4.FnS
5.Golden apples
6.Food
7.Food
8.Food
9.Food(If cake is put back into chests this is where it will go)

If I don't have a bow or fishing rod I have the habit of keeping those slots empty.

Red=Weapons: Sword, Bow, Flint & Steel, Fishing Rod.
Green=Emergency Items: Preferably golden apples.
Blue=Foods: High saturation foods on the left, low saturation foods on the right.
Orange= Miscellaneous Item: Whatever I find useful.
Purple=Decoy Weapon: Low-level weapon to carry when running around.
Yellow=Extra Food: Food to carry around in case I run out.
Dark Red=Cooking Fuel: Wooden tools to burn in order to cook raw food.
Tan=Valuables: Precious metals to use to craft weapons, armor, etc.
Black=Ammo and Expendables: Extra Flint & Steel, and arrows.

This is my ideal setup.

Column second farthest to the left (Top to bottom): Gold, Iron, Diamond

Bottom Row (Right to left): FOOD!

Middle Row (Right to left): FOOD!

Top middle slot (Where your mouse is when you open inventory): Boat

The only difference between me and you is that my f&s is switched with my rod

Blank space is for more flint/steel and picking up the other persons stuff to burn it, burn it all. n____n
