how about a feast?

one thing i thought would be cool is to add a feast at the cornacopia, i know that you refill the chest every night but mabye anounce a feast to speed the game up mabye after like 20 minutes have gone by?

I like the idea. Or maybe in a random location, and say, maybe one tribute is about to die of hunger, then they could have signs saying what's in them, like "food" or "armor" and something like that. OOO, or it could be where only one tribute could get a certain one!

Can someone explain to me what the feast is?...

The feast is where the gamemakers set up a table inside the cornucopia with backpacks labeled with the numbers of the districts of the remaining tributes still alive. Each backpack is filled with an item that the remaining tributes need most. For example, food, medicine. Also, most of the time the item in the bag is too expensive for the sponsors to give the tributes anyway.

Sometimes to speed the game up they announce a "Feast" at the cornucopia to speed things up. Generally it has items that the tribute needs, this lures all the players out, and people die in fights over specific items. Also I do suggest atleast reading the series, it was amazing.

Awesome idea, if everyone would go to the feast with equal stuff. I think that the people who camp the cornucopia would just kill the people who came to the feast, or they would take all of the items and get an even bigger advantage.
