I had to close my eyes, because seeing was starting to hurt. I probably could've gone for another ten seconds or so if I really tried, but I'd rather not risk anything.
I'm really, really surprised that I could hold my breath for that long. In the past, when I was younger, I was able to hold my breath for nearly a minute, depending on physical condition.
I played Clarinet for two years, but that was a while ago so I doubt that had an impact.
I once passed out in a Wave Pool, and drowned. I woke up on the shallow end. My father, who was supposed to be watching over me and my sisters, ignored my shouts for help, and didn't seem to notice that I had even drowned. When I told him, he didn't believe me.
I haven't gone swimming in months, despite living in South Florida and being born on an island.
