Hit Boxes changed?

I noticed that in order to hit someone. I need to be inside of them or close to that. Please tell me this is a glitch. Sigh

It's highly probable that you are just lagging/internet is lagging. I haven't been experiencing anything of the sort, and obviously neither have the people above me.
Maybe you're playing in a region far away from you and that's causing the internet lag.

What, the f3 + button thing? That's not gonna mean anything. If he has to get close to the person, that obviously means it's the hit range. If it was the hit box, then he could be 5 blocks away (or whatever the max range is) and as long as he hits the hit box it does damage.

I believe either anti cheat or NCP are messing with the hit boxes, it will be resolved soon.
