And clearing their inventory would probably be ineffective, because normally at the end of the game there are still items you can't pick up so those would go into your inventory once it's cleared and you could still end up with a sword in your hotslots. Then, if you were doing a clear every few miliseconds, that would cause server lag and that would just be annoying.
